Say I have the same type of scheduled appointment on three separate dates (e.g. a meeting or training) but it doesn't recur regularly. Hence what I wanted to do was, after I created the first item, to clone it twice and move the clones to their respective dates. However, I couldn't figure out a convenient way to do this. Thanks!

Hold the Ctrl key while doing a drag-drop of an event should do exactly what you want

Hm, no matter which modifier key I use in conjunction with the drag, all I can do is move items, rather than replicate them. This is on version 113f.

I've had little succes with drag and drop in week or month view (these below when testing again with the 'g' version). When you say drag n drop Pierre, which calendar view are you using?
  1. often unable to 'grip' item in order to move it
  2. item not being copied when using Ctrl key

Indeed, it was working but is not broken again. I'll fix it in the next version

Drag-drop will take a while to implement...

But you can simply select one or more events and copy / paste
(paste currently only works from the context menu, but this will be fixed in the next version)

Tip: Using the context menu to paste will paste the event at the mouse down date / time
