make parent Item (or Tree Column) text visible as a grid column

 Just had an idea.  If the Parent Item text could be added as a column to a grid, then items could be sorted by parent Item even if Grid > Context Parents is set to None, simply by sorting on that Parent Item column.

Too late, this is already implemented, see ItemParent and ItemGParent fields

or maybe it's already possible to sort by parent item using the Sort box in the Source Bar?  I didn't think of that.
 
The idea is, you could arrange items by Parent Item, but get a strictly tabular display of items without the "clutter" of Context Items.

Why not turning off context parents alltogether...
