1)
in the Sample file, if I select a cell, press Ctrl+C, the content of the cell get copied (and just that).

2)
in my file, I get the column title as well e.g.
Pagesize
--------
A3+

#1 above is my preferred behaviour

Possibly related:
when I try to remove one column, I get the message that '2 columns are selected' see screenshot:

All columns are shown. Only one cell is selected.
One item is hoisted
(Just in case: actually removing the column is not the problem here.)

Is there some setting I'm missing?

EDIT// both problems resolved by restarting IQ (will have to try remember to do that next time before making all this effort of posting...)

Hi Tom,

Evidently, 2 columns are selected even though you selected only one...
The header appearing is also an indication (assuming Tools > Options > 1.2.29 is checked)
  1. Is this for every grid in the file ?
  2. You tried to close and re-open ?
  3. Any hidden columns ?

in case it of any help --
there were three hidden columns,
1.2.29 is checked -- testing it, it only copies column headers when cells in two different columns are selected (which suits me fine)

I'm sorted anyways, and being productive :-)  thanks Pierre

Indeed, this is by design

I have this problem too, from time to time. Don't know why neither how to reproduce it.
