 HI,
I think I may have asked this before a long time ago but I couldn't find it when searching.

Is there an easy way to get information into IQ from other information managers along with images, not separate but images in the document?  The only things I need are for IQ to import the file name as the "Item" name and import the rich text and images into the "Doc" "HTML" pane.  I don't need anything else.

I've had some luck that from one of the IM's I can export an HTML file with embedded images.  The only thing wrong with that is it's in one giant file, not individual so it only imports into IQ as one big item.

I'm sure I'm missing something.  It'd be great to be able to import and export that way.

Thanks,
Larry

Hi Larry,

The default format for the Doc pane is HTML which does not support embedded images. Instead, you can use the MHT format (File > New > MHT). Editing would then be done in an MHT editor, such as MS Word, which does support Copy / Paste of text and images

Ask for more details if this can fill your needs

Hi Pierre,

Thanks for the quick reply.  Now I understand why what was trying wasn't working right.

I'll keep messing with HTML exports, maybe between the programs I can bounce the data around to get a good import.  Looks promising.

Thanks again, I'm having a lot of fun learning what InfoQube can do.
