I use formatting to track work.  I just set up conditional formatting for this.

I have the same two tabs and items displayed side by side.  When I apply conditional formatting, it appears in one view but not the other.

Complete explanation in attached PDF.

Hi Wayne,

Are you sure the field F-GreyBlue is shown as a column in the grid that doesn't work ?

OK, I guess I learned something unexpected.

When the same grid is displayed in side by side tabs, any change made to one is immediately displayed in the other.

But apparently that does not apply to columns.  If you add a column to one grid view it does not automatically show up in the other view, even when you refresh the view.

Not a problem now that I understand it.  It just didn't occur to me that column changes would not show up in both.

Thanks.
Wayne

This is actually by-design, so you can have the same grid opened more than once, with different column sets

Just keep in mind, the last one to close wins (i.e. the settings of the last one to close will be saved, and re-applied when you re-open it)
