I'd like to be able to switch back and forth between half-screen and full-screen views of InfoQube without having to re-size the InfoQube panes each time.
I work in two modes:

1) InfoQube displayed in one-half of the screen, and another program in the other half.

2) InfoQube displayed full screen, with one grid pane on the left and one on the right.

Ideally for me, it would work like this:

Full-screen Infoqube > switch to one-half screen view = InfoQube shows the left half of the full-screen view.  This allows you to keep working on the left pane without re-sizing.  Right now, it squishes both panes into one view, making both unusable until you drag the divider to the right.  Then when you switch back to full-screen, you have to drag the divider back to the left to see both panes.

I presume this is Windows behavior outside Pierre's control but does anyone know a way to accomplish what I want?  Maybe a utility?  I tried to search for one but couldn't describe what I want in a simple enough way for a search to be useful.

Hi Wayne,

This is perhaps possible, I'll put something like this on the list.

What you can do right now, in particularly if you don't use the Doc pane much, which I think is your case is to not split the IQ window into 2, but instead, detach the grid you want to see in that right half. Adjust the width of that pane to suit your full screen setup
Now, when you want to split your screen, first hit F11 and then split your screen to use 2 apps
F11 will hide that right pane for you

HTH !

Running multiple instances appears to be the ideal solution for my use.

Both instances appear on the taskbar and when I want side by side views I just click on the 2nd program icon, then minimize it when I want to go back to single, half-screen view.
