 Hi,
A few weeks ago I was experimenting with Google sync.  I had the sync type at "View/Edit Events".  I decided I didn't want to use it in IQ until later.  After I was finished experimenting I deleted the Google link and now when I was cleaning up my database I noticed in properties I had over 500 events.  I was trying to clear these out but noticed they weren't "Items" and found in the manual under "Events not linked to an item" and how it can only be viewed in calendar and not in grids and other UI.

I was going month by month deleting them and think I got them all (all I can see anyway, and that's even checking many years previous) but it still shows I have over 500 events in properties.

My question is this, is there a way to view all events in a list or somewhere or just how do I get rid of them since they're not items.
To be clear, I don't want to sync to Google or have that information in IQ as of now.  The link has already been deleted.

Thanks,
Larry

4.8 Removing Synced Events

When transitioning from a Sync type to Sync None, users may want to remove local copies of events.

For a limited number of events, this is best done using the Calendar:
  • In Google Sync, set the Calendar Sync type to None. Click OK to save
  • Select one or more events and do Edit > Delete (or hit the Delete key)
For a large number of events, do:
  1. In Google Sync, set the Calendar Sync type to None. Click OK to save
  2. If the Google Calendar was at some point synced to IQ items, it is best to delete these items
  3. In the Calendar Sync dialog, click on the ... menu and select Delete local events
  4. You' ll be prompted to delete just events not associated to items or all events created on Google Calendar
