Hi,

When I am clipping / adding items into InfoQube using the New Item Dialog, I usually have the selection at a certain position in the grid where I want the item to appear. However, the new itm dialog always creates a new top-level item, so then I have to mark it and add it to my desired grid position as sub-item. Could there be an option in the New Item Dialog to insert the new item content into the currently selected item, i.e. overwrite the "Item" and "ItemHTML" fields for the selected ItemID? It would save me several steps of work.

Thank you!

Hi !

Adding the new item as a sub-item makes sense and could be added easily.

To overwrite the current item less though... why not use the Item Editor which does the same (and more) ?

Add as sub-item will cover my case neatly. I'll look into the item editor. It sounds like there's a feature there that I've overlooked. Thanks!

Have you found out how to handle this scenario Cyganet?
I would appreciate knowing directions from you since I have the same need...

Thanks!

Hi Carlos!

I did have a look at the item editor, but I didn't find a way to add a web clip to the item that way. The item editor shows the URL associated with the item, but it isn't editable.
