Whether I use the installer version or the portable version, IQ's taskbar icon will only appear on the taskbar of the primary display. If I move IQ's window to the other display, the tasbar icon does note move. Whereas with pretty much all the other programs I use, moving the window between displays also causes the taskbar icon to move. Any chance this could be addressed? Thanks!

Hi Lucas,

You're right... I do have dual monitors but do not have it configured it that way (single task bar)

I did many trials and did not get it to be as smooth as other apps, but the icon now moves to the correct taskbar when you release the mouse button

Hi Pierre,

That is wonderful news! Many thanks. (I use Win+Shift with arrow keys to move windows between monitors. I look forward to trying it out.)

  • Fixed: On multi-monitor, icon is now shown on the correct monitor taskbar

Thank you, Pierre! I am not seeing 116e available for download yet, but I look forward to trying it once it's available.

Thanks for this. However, I am now running 116e and I am not seeing a change. The icon still doesn't move when I move the app to the second display.

My settings are as follows:

Under Display settings, my multiple display setting is "Extend these displays".

Under Taskbar settings, in the "Multiple displays" subsection, I have selected:
    - Show taskbar on all displays: On
    - Show taskbar buttons on: "Taskbar where window is open"

Are others seeing a change?

Hi !

I have exactly those setting and it works fine...

You need to restart IQ if you change the taskbar settings

Ah, you are right! It appears that if I have started IQ without the second display connected, I need to restart once I connect the second display. Many thanks!

Yes, I'll add a check for monitor config changes on a slow timer thread, to not impact performance
