How do I set this up? Do I need a special modem or can I use my cable modem, etc?

Thanks.

 Jan,
TAPI dialing requires a telephone modem connected to your telephone line and the computer. A cable modem just extracts the Internet signal from your cable TV connection.

Thanks, John. Can I use a DSL line. I have one of those, too.

 Jan,
You can use that line but you will still need a telephone modem - the DSL modem, is like the cable modem, just handles the Internet signal.

If someone wants to research how to link to Skype, I'll gladly integrate it into IQ. This will allow dialing using nothing but an Internet connection.

What is required is sample code (with or without the help of a DLL or an ActiveX). Free personal license to the first significant help on this feature.

oooooooooooo that's a great idea & makes so much sense.
I wish I were smart enough to get you the info you need; it's way above my head.
ADM was integrated with Skye both for voice & text.

I hope someone takes you up on that, Pierre..... please... somebody.......
