Had this on the clipboard:

Warning!
Do not forget to correctly specify the layout file name, if you change it!

Pasting it into the grid resulted in everything after the first exclamation mark being cut off. The same happens with:

How to edit the built-in layout

1. Decompile the built-in layout files (Main menu—Decompile, but first, do not forget to enable this item display in Settings)
2. The mnt\sdcard\JbakKeyboard\keyboards\res folder will be created. It will contain all the built-in layouts in the form of XML files.
For more detailed information about how different layouts are labelled, read in jbak2layout.
3. Find and copy the required file to the mnt\sdcard\JbakK2eyboard\keyboards folder.
4. Apply changes to the XML file.
5. Activate it in Settings—Languages and layouts.
Weird?

How was this pasted ? Was the cell already in edit mode ? What clipboard format did you use ? (use Ctrl+Shift+V to select the clipboard format)

-- for multi-line text, best is to first start edit and then paste text

Thanks for following up!

For both HTML and Unicode text format, I get only the first line when I paste into selected cell without being in edit mode before. This has never happened to me before the last, or maybe the last two updates.

Pasting while editing does not achieve the same result as the entire text is merely dumped into a pile, i.e. all carriage returns / new lines are lost.

I just reverted to v116g to confirm and everything works fine. Back on v116i, it's broken again.

Hi Left !

In v116k, it should work just fine in both edit and non-edit modes. Tested for Unicode and HTML clipboard formats too

HTH !
