Is there any way to access the edit item window quicker?

When I enter Ctrl-E, it takes 6 seconds for the window to finally display. I'd like to use it more but the annoying delay makes it cumbersome to use for editing.

Hi Wayne,

This will reset your Doc pane customization, but try this:

Close IQ
Find the Users\WayneK folder
There will be a file named MenuHTML.dat. Delete it
Re-open IQ

Thanks, I'll try that.

Instead of deleting MenuHTML I'll rename it MenuHTMLOld just in case I want to revert to old settings.

In v117Pre3, I'm using a different file for the menus, more compact. It should help

The idea of using the same file as the Doc pane is of course that both provide the same function, so this switch isn't definitive

We'll see the plusses and minuses of each

It should be approx 1 sec...

It's definitely better, which is appreciated. Mine times out at about two seconds.
