1. Go to Tools|Options and filter/search for "show field"
2. Select if you want color to show on the header, the cells (column) or both. Click OK.
3. Next Tools|Manage Fields.
4. Select the Field you are interested (I selected "fileName").
5. Expand the "General section" and select the color in the drop down (I selected red). Save.
Unrelated.- I used to have a friend from Sweden in Japan who trained Karate there and had the word VIKING written on his belt. Coolest thing ever.
Hmmmm... I am originally from Sweden and lived in Japan for a short while. However, I didn't train Karate and I didn't have VIKING on my belt, so it couldn't have been me.............

It is a 2 step process:In Tools > Options > 1.2.15 (Show Field Color), set to show color on the header and / or CellFor the column, open Field Properties and set the field color in the General sectionYou may need to close the grid and re-open itSee later post on how to easily do this

As usual i can't get this working (I'm sooo slow)
I can get the header set in color but can't seem to setup a color for the entire column.
Can someone step by step me to get a full column in color of my choice.
