Hi, when I click 'send emails' after selecting an item, nothing happens.  Anyone else find this?
 
I've specified an SMTP server, didn't see where to put the port but tried it with and without ':25' at the end.  Did not change the behaviour though.

You must have the cell with the email selected.
 
To send an email, 3 choices:
  1. Single email: Click on the email address (in grid or properties pane)
  2. Multiple emails: Display the email field in the grid, select a series of emails and do Item>>Send emails
  3. Do an HTML export, using a template and click on email merge

Working like a charm!  I can't believe how comprehensive that email dialog is.  My test use case was to do the following, if anyone can assist with the last two I'd appreciate any input:
 
a) Send a due to-do item to the currently assigned person, with description of the item and notes so far (worked fine)
 
b) if i have a field with a reference to the assignee, pick their email up into an email field so you dont have to type the full email for each to-do (I guess this will be an auto-assign rule but I haven't worked that out yet).  I plan to have something like FU:Shane in the main item text and use an item assignment to put 'Shane' in an 'assigned to' column and drive email off that.
 
c) Add a note to the top of my ItemHTML saying "Sent followup email on <date/time> <CR> <CR>"
