Suggestion:

1) Make info pop-up window customizable (window that pops up when you hold down Ctrl while hovering cursor over item). 

This is such a great way to make key info handy but it's usefulness is restricted by having no control over the info shown. 

I'm not going to argue about what's shown because everyone will have their own idea about what's important (though I can't resist questioning why the pop-up shows the item contents when you are already hovering over the item and can see the contents directly.)

All the things I'd like to see here are available elsewhere, of course, but it would be more convenient to have them in a pop-up.  My side pane is filled with Forms, and I don't like having to re-arrange things and dig down thru several layers to find properties info (then having to close everything up to get back to normal).

2) Alternative: make info in the grid header bar customizable.  There's a lot of wasted prime real estate here that could be put to good use (right now it just shows the grid source).

We already have a precedent with the Main Title Bar Caption being customizable (but this bar cannot display any item info, I don't believe).
