Hey. What's the most effective way to count down to a certain date in the future?
Using a column with a bit of VB scripting? Or is there a more 'native' solution?
Also, rather than display the countdown values in a separate column, is there any way I could calculate this number inside the 'item text' field - or display it there (if it were a column value), surrounded by text?
Many thanks!
How do I ?

Unrelated to IQ but I use a great program called unsurprisingly 'countdown' You can have 100 entries in one iteration with as many iterations as you like. I've been using it for years now and it's been a great help. Here's the link Countdown! Countdown Software for dates/events for Windows
Ghanks, I'll have a look!
Thanks, I'll have a look!

Hi Left,
yup, a bit of VB script will do the trick for the count down. If you want to modify the item text, you'll need to add some more VB script to be triggered by an auto-assign rule
