I see you can bring up grids with Alt+(1-9) though it must be by their ID number or something, because it doesn't reflect their order in the grid panel.  How does that work?  Anyway, so far I don't rely on that function.

My main suggestion is to have Ctrl- Pageup/Pagedown to move left/right through open grids.  This is how excel, firefox, todolist and others work to move between open tabs.

Is this a possibility Pierre?

Thx

Good suggestion, you can add it to Mantis

Hmmm this is already mantis stuff, Pierre.

ctrl page down/up is ok with me though, although not as convenient as ctrl-tab/shift-ctrl-tab, as one takes two hands and not the other (at least not on my keyboard...)

(I think a good review of what's already been suggested would be nice... Otherwise it feels like "lost" work. )

Thanks for that.  So from Mantis and my suggestion the options are:

a) Ctrl- tab / shift-tab - Armando mentioned this one
b) Ctrl- pgup / pgdown - mentioned by  tomos in Mantis then by me in this thread
c) Ctrl- arrow keys

I'm so used to using b) in Excel and Firefox that it'd be some relearning to do the 3-key shuffle to move left.  It's what a person would intuitively try before going to help to find out what the shortcut is.

So I vote B, but what do others think?  Hopefully these will be in the shortcut list so we're only talking 'defaults' anyway?

Hadnt thought of that - I can do it easily one handed on my keyboard
Maybe the Ctrl+Arrow key then - I'm used to the Ctrl+[Shift]+Alt from Photoshop as well . .

Anyways, as Mark says, hopefully these will be editable - but as long as there's something there at some stage I'd be happy (even if not editable)

[/quote] This 0.9.24 is getting exciting!  Are you going to unleash a complete 0.9.24 on us as listed in the Mantis roadmap, or perhaps a 0.9.24D?

There are some features and fixed things I'd really like to see asap.

Is there any chance of going back to the Latest Build system?  It confused some, but it was nice to get nearly immediate bug fixes.

See, I did everything but ask ETA!  (I've got to figure out how to put emoticons in messages!).

You must either reset your keyboard shortcuts or else create it yourself. See -- link to nonexistent node ID 145 --

There's something wrong with the link. Seems to be -- link to nonexistent node ID 145 --.

Nevermind... seems to work now. And I've added a few explanations to the keyboard shortcuts page.

Wow.  My computer is down (hard drive crashed) and I had to order a new machine. I can't wait to test the new beta and start linking and calendar-ing!
