I'm planning on an entry later today as well. If you click on Blogs on the IQ Community menu, an unnamed second menu comes up right below it with a "Post New Blog Entry" option.
Was that what you were looking for, or have you found some other obstacle beyond?

Thanks, Jerome. Yes, what you describe would suit me fine but when I click blogs, I don't get anything under it. I'll have to play some more to see what it is I'm missing -- maybe some setting or other.
The link takes me to a page I've never seen before. When I click / dbl clk on Blogs I get a list of current blogs. There is no choice below the "Blogs" link in the index frame.

that's funny. Pierre's link brings me to a "post-new-post/thread-type-page" for blogs where I just have to type in title, text and click submit - just like starting a regular thread
EDIT/ I see from your blog post that you figured it out lol
Actually, Tom, I didn't figure it out. The only way I could post a blog was via Pierre's link. Otherwise, there didn't seem to be a way to add a new blog post from my machine, i.e. "add new blog post" or whatever is supposed to appear, never did for me.
Hmm that's interesting. Like Jan (I guess) I have no menu entry - blank or otherwise - between "IQ Community" and "Who's onlne".
So maybe it is some sort of profile setting.
EDIT: having seen the simultaneous from Pierre post, I now find that if I hit "blogs" in the "IQ Community" list, the blank menu item then appears as described by Jerome. So it's a 2-step process.
