Wasn't it always like that ? Maybe not, but I thought that only html export preserved formatting etc.

Armando, I'm confused by your post. My post has to do with copying data from source into IQ & has nothing to do with formatting.
Maybe i've not been clear which wouldn't be the first time but what I'm trying to explain is that if I select data from a website (for example) &  'copy content' to InfoQube via context menu command,  the text entry dialog (just above the URL) is sometimes filled with text that has nothing to do with the source of the clipped data.. It's flaky (another technical term like funky).  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Sorry Jan, yes I misinterpreted your question.

You meant Copying using the firefox clipper. Copy content could refer to copying content from IQ.

The bug you're speaking about is known and still unresolved. Just to remind you (you know might know that already) : it happens when you use the universal clipper before using the firefox clipper. Is that what you're referring to?

see 751.

Pierre : I added a note to this issue,

Steps to reproduce the bug :

1- Select some text in some window. Use win-c to clip.
2- Discard the clip
3- Select some text in firefox : Use win-n to clip.

4- "Item text" text box is filled with previous item info.

Pierre... There's still a problem with this. It just doesn't work properly...

If I use the universal clipper to clip something, then any ulterior titles of items clipped with the firefox clipper will have the previous universal clipper's clip title instead.

(Workaround for those who, like me, use both clippers : 1- click on the desktop, 2- press the universal clipper shortcut key, 3- cancel the clip. Your Firefox clips should now have the proper title... until your next universal clipper's clip...)

So all fixes and features are working as expected here, except one :

I'm still seeing the previous text in the item field when I use the universal clipper before the firefox one. Left a note in Mantis.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

(Oh, and the scratch-search-inbox grids assignment textbox in the grid management window are still reset each time IQ is closed -- so have to reassign the proper grids each time I reopen IQ. But this was not part of the bug fix list, so I guess it's just "normal")

Confirmed and (this time I hope) fixed for good !

Latest build will be updated shortly
