Yup, this happens when the calendar is first opened. Reclicking on the calendar toolbar icon sets it right.

Scrolling is super fast here... How many events do you have in your calendar ?

I can see that it's slower when there are lot's of events in there. But here... it's still fast enough.

I guess it depends also on CPU + Graphic card.

Maybe there'S room for improvement... But I'm not a calendar user yet. Still using Outlook.

Pierre ? Is improvement in scrolling response possible ?... considering that Calendar will fill up pretty quickly once we start really using it ?

the screencast is actually much slower than reality... doesn,t show anything ! :(

The initial Calendar view mode (when in week mode) is now fixed
Scrolling is fine here. Are you using KatMouse? Is it scrolling my month or week?

As stated in original post, scrolling in monthly view (w 3 recurring items) + few other appts is sluggish. Not using KatMouse. Armando, I'm on a very fast HP gaming machine w too much RAM & very fast display card. Could get you the specs if you're interested.

Seriously : this is weird... I have a 3 y orld laptop and scrolling is fast. I believe Pierre's laptop is even slower.

How sluggish is it ?

Not to be cute but sluggish enough for me to notice it & bitch about it

Sluggishness is sort of like swishing; it's hard to quantify.

As a test, I've disabled the event duration and total when in month view (95% of the time, it wasn't visible anyway).

Check to see if the performance is better. Release coming later on today
