A bug was found which can cause you to loose the content of a grid cell (in particular, the item), so it is important to download the latest version (or copy the LatestBuild)

To trigger the bug:
  1. Enter some text in a cell and end editing (F2)
  2. Edit again but only change a letter with a Capital (i.e. change test to Test)
  3. The cell will be erased
Fixed.

It is important that all users install this fix... there has been very few issues that caused data to be lost, and we're quite proud of it, but this bug can cause you to loose some of your precious information.

Comments

Pre-rel 7 (available as a LatestBuild) includes:
  • More general OPML import (before was specific to URp)
  • Properties pane context menus to recalculate and touch a field value

Weekly view doesn't scale to so user can see 7 day vertical w/o scrolling (sun hidden)
also recurring in monthly not displaying correctly. Example "Carol Day Off" is seen as "C"
Still cannot access calendar options

Pierre, At one time there was a menu item for 'calendar' options, etc. It disappeared a few betas ago. It is still not visible here pre-rel 9 unless I am doing something wrong.  Could someone please confirm this.  Thank you.

If you don't see that menu, it is because you modified your menu. To reset to the supplied one:
  1. Right-click on the menu bar >> customize
  2. Select Menu Bar
  3. Click Reset

I'm not getting the same result. If I remove, say, "Window" from the Menu Bar, Reset restores it. But it doesn't restore "Calendar." And it doesn't restore "Grid" and "Item," which disappear with Quick Search and are not always automatically restored.

But I still don't see Calendar 'Options'. Clicking on Calendar icon only offers new item or timeline view

If all fails, you can:
  1. Close IQ
  2. Delete the users' menu.dat file (for Portable, it is in the users folder\YourUserName, in Installable, it is in c:\Docs and settings\YourUserName\Application Data\InfoQube)
  3. Restart IQ
