Does drag and drop work on items and sub-items? It seems I remember at one time drag and drop was a little touchy. I can't seem to get it to work at all in trying to re-organizing sub-items.

I've been selecting the items/subitems using the # column.

yes, you actually have to click on the number in the # column

Personally, I have set up a shortcut for this, I find it a lot easier

Customise >> Keyboard >> Item >> Select

There is no need to click on the number column to select the item before doing a drag-drop. Simply click on some text (when not editing) and move

There is now visual feedback as to where the item will go and whether it will be a sub-item or not.

So that's how you can make it work. Is there some technical reason that the text must be selected, rather than just clicking anywhere in the cell? I ask because sometimes I "miss" hitting the text (but hit the cell), and the drag/drop doesn't work.

Clicking on an empty part of a cell allows you to do select by drag
