I've tried selecting just the columns I want to print, but that doesn't seem to work. There doesn't seem to be an option in the print dialog, and you can't hid the # column.
 
I've looked at options for the specific grid, and I've looked at system wide grid options, and for special printing options, but still haven't found it.
 
So how do I prevent the # column from printing?

the # column is unusual (!)
 
what you do is use the mouse to reduce the size of the column to nothing/invisible
then it wont print or export (export to web-page at any rate)
 
EDIT/ (btw) -
I usually have this column hidden on all my grids cause I dont have much use for it - the only disadvantage is it can be difficult to select the item if this column is hidden but I have made a shortcut for this action so I'm covered ...
 
 

Note I put a little blurb about the # column in the working glossary. -- link to nonexistent node ID 90 --. Perhaps this can be referenced somewhere else in the manual also, maybe a to-be-written "printing" page.
