Greetings All

Hyperlink targets don't seem to be showing up for editing in the hyperlink dialog. Is this a bug? Some screenshots:

1) Inserting the link to URL on the word "hyperlink."

2) It's definitely there, shown in grid underlying text.

3. Select same link word for editing, target does not appear.

4. Paste the same (or different) link target in:

5. It becomes a second complete link, now wrapped to the first word in the Item.

I'll take a look at this. Thanks for the detailed instructions.

Just to confirm:
  1. This is for a grid hyperlink (not an HTML pane hyperlink) ?
  2. This was working before ?

Hi, Pierre. Yep, grid hyperlink. And this behavior is probably not new, but it became more evident with the recent improvements in how hyperlinks are copied from HTML pane to grid.

I copy WikiTags into my production grid from an HTML pane in a secondary grid. And the tags are live links; I can click on a tag to display similarly tagged items in Scratch. Very handy.

Before the recent improvements, I had to recurse the linked tags in the HTML pane, as shown below in green, to obtain a live link. Copied out the whole line. Now, as shown in blue, I can copy the single word: Nutrition, embedded with the WikiTag: {Nutrition} and can avoid all the wraparound. Much nicer.

Of course, first time using PreRel15, there was unwanted HTML in the WikiTag, leading me to edit the link and question the behavior of the dialog.

Hi Jerome,
Is there a Mantis issue for that ?

The hyperlink dialog will now fill correctly provided you select the whole link (i.e. the "<a ... >LinkText</a>")
