When doing searches using the fast-find (long grid) approach, I've noticed that some items will have the "Shown-In" field populated, but others don't.  I have one grid where there are a dozen entries, but only 3 appear with the "Shown-In" field completed. If I go to the field, and check the properties, I can see that it is actually shown in multiple fields.

Another anomaly, using quick find, I can say "All blanks" on the "Shown-In" field, and it filters to show blanks. But then, as I page down, the Shown-In field starts to populate.

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,

You've indeed identified a display bug. The "Shown in" was not being updated in certain cases. I've updated pre-rel 5 with this fix (no version change)

Thanks!

When I try to recreate the example in the manual, "for ", the little box in the lower left hand corner that tells what filter is being used doesn't show. Is there some flag I need to flip to make that work?

There are some new features on the Quick Find screen not in the documentation. I can figure out auto-close (close when hitting enter, right?) and "Show Details", but I'm not sure what "Sync Properties" does.

Thanks!
Mark

Sync Properties was broken. I'm fixing it now. As a bonus, it will now be "Sync Panes"  and will sync the properties and the HTML panes

What it does, is that as you select items in the seach window, these panes will update to show their content. You can even edit the pane content (field values, HTML, etc)
