I don't know if this is a bug or a limitation. The Manage Grids dialogue is fine on my Vaio notebook, but needs to be re-sized smaller on my netbook. I can drag the top of the box and it appears to be re-sizing, but it does not. The bottom runs off the lower portion of my screen. Any ideas?

Ah ! I should check that I don't exceed the screen window...
 
In the meantime, standard way to resize a window is to click on the control box (top-left) and select size. You can then use the cursor keys to size the window and eventually move it so it fits

Thank you. That helps just enough. Still most users will use the mouse or touchpad.
