when I click form item to item, property pane doesn't always keep up here.

Yes, I noticed that there are still cases where the properties pane is out of sync. I'll have to keep my eyes open for the steps.

Pierre, I think you took a note about the properties pane syncing thing the other day, did you ? Or should I describe the steps ?

Ok, here are 2 other situations where Properties pane is out of sync :
 
1- Open the properties pane.
2- Open a grid and focus on an item.
 
3- Open "field management" dialog.
4- Close it.
 
5- Properties pane is now completely empty.
 
Now, 2 cases :
 
6a- Bring focus back on grid with F9
7a - Create an item : properties pane is out of sync and is empty
-----
6b- Bring focus back on grid by clicking on the previously focussed item
7b - Create an item : properties pane is out of sync and is empty
8b- click again on the previously focussed item
9b - Create an item : properties pane is out of sync and shows previously focussed item's data.

Just a reminder about another important issue : The properties pane acts out pretty often here.
 
Example (after putting a bunch of items under another parent -- creating another parent link) :

Note that the properties pane is stuck and flickers (closed it, reopened it, changed grids, etc.) and I need to restart IQ to have behave properly.

Weird. It just happened again, 2 times. I have no idea what does it. But I have restart IQ each time... Maybe it' related to a recent fix.
 
Anyway, this is pretty major.

Pierre : Although there are still some properties pane syncing problems, it's highly possible that the last problem mention (empty properties pane etc.) was due to the field problem I mentioned to you in a private message. Thanks.

My hypothesis was wrong : my IQBase seems to be repaired and functioning properly, however I'm still getting the properties pane problem and I have to restart IQ each time.

This particular problem (not the other ones mentioned in the thread) happens when I copy/paste fairly large trees of items (creating new items). I know this is of know particular help, especially that I haven't been able to reproduce the problem in a sample DB.

Happened again. Again after pasting a lot of items under a parent.
I still can't reproduce it with a sample DB.
