I'm confused how the old wiki Glossary will be transitioned over to this new site, and how it fits in with the new glossary setup in this site.

the Glossary here is much briefer mostly, which suits the popup thingys

It would be a shame to *not* use the wiki glossary info (and not only cause of all the work put into it - I think the stuff there is good )

on the other hand I guess it would be bit wierd to have the "brief" glossary, then a more in depth Glossary page, and then individual pages with more info again...

Could the glossary list here have a brief definition and then a more in depth explanation which wouldnt show up in the pop-ups?

Unfortunately, the new Glossary system can only be edited by administrators...

so I would recommend importing the Glossary page as a book page, and whatever is put on that page, and agreed between users, will be put in the official glossary (by me)

In that case sounds ok to keep it going as is

and if the definitions are too long you could abbreviate them for the "Glossary list"

I imported the working wiki glossary into the test book page 01.

I would like you to lock down the wiki glossary page if possible, (Tom and Armando, is that okay with you?)

You sure can, nobody has modified the page. I added the locked message and a link to the new page

Hi guys. I didn't really realize that this forum got that active in the last few days... :)

Anyhow... Just wanted to say that I modified a few things in the wiki, mainly the WikiTag part.

could anyone refer me to an easy quick start guide to html - I'm presuming that's what it is when you go to source when editing pages

You should not really need to edit the HTML directly. The build-in editor is quite powerful (and the same as in the old forum).
