Is this possible? If so,how.  Example:

item = tech tip
column = text list of software I use

Thx

I dont really understand your example
could you expand a bit

e.g.
1) what exactly do you want to filter for
2) when you say column what do you mean - what is the field name
3) when you say "text list of software I use" could you be more specific and/or descriptive of grid
4) significance of:   item = tech tip

1) I want to filter for a specific software from the txt list which contains all the software I use
2) Software
3) a field which is a txt list -- in this case a list of software titles, i.e. IQ, Photoshop, Lightroom
4) all items are tech tips, i.e. specific data points on various hardware & software. Or a view that contains nothing but tech items.

Thx for your interest.

Hi Jan

Have you tried using column filters?

If that is not what you want, simply supply an example (either mock-up or a screen capture)

Pierre, Column filters might do the trick if they stick.  I'll get back to you on that.  Learning something new every day.  Thx

Column filters now stick. Ensure "Filter as you type" is not checked if you want to select from a list
