copy item from grid "A" as XML selected item (no sub-items)
paste item into grid "B" in the midst of a thread (make it 4 levels for test), i.e. paste under item @ level 3
impossible to paste item under selected item because it will paste below parent & then has to be moved manually. Also entire thread collapses
 
User has to expand thread
User has to manually position pasted item under the 3rd level item

But I can't reproduce the problem.
 

OK. I was able to reproduce it once.
 
- auto-refresh was off for the grid
- hadn't been refreshed before pasting.
 
But I tried in several other grids and can't reproduce it.
Do you which grid settings you're using ?
Could you post a screencast ?
