Apologies if this discussed elsewhere:
 
I missed the arrival of this option:
Options >Other >Show Open with when launching file links
 
I enabled this in my defaulf file/install (G) and the 'open with' dialogue window opened in the background
 
so I enabled it in a clean install (H) and it doesnt work at all (maybe you disabled it Pierre?)
I updated my install and got the same behaviour (doesnt work)

It never did work for hyperlinks, only though double-click on a file item
 
Starting v0.9.25I, Open With ... also works for hyperlinks.

Do you think (at some-any stage) could it be made dependent on a qualifier key?
e.g.
Ctrl+Click on hyperlink shows open with dialogue
Click on hyperlink would work as normal
 
If it is a possibility I can add it to Mantis
