When I display the search result in the current grid as hoisted, and then turn the hoist off, it doesn't get me back to the latest grid state, but actually it took me to the grid with all items closed. Is there anyway to go back to the latest grid state. When you use that feature a lot as I do, this is annoying. I'm using version 25C
Thanks

Thanks Pierre.
I downloaded version 25I, It worked for some time, but suddenly stopped, and I'm back to the old problem. When I quick search/hoist in the current grid, and then turn the hoist off, it takes me the the grid with all items fully expanded, not to the "last state. Is there any way to fix it?

Take care,
Jay

BTW -- same version (25I) -- wordwrap does funny things. Sometimes I can turn it by column, sometimes when I turn the wordwrap just for one column, all the columns in the grid get the wordwrap turned on.

Update: I've downloaded the backup file, updated, and it seems to be working. But something is not stable, I suspect.

Hoist : I use hoisting quite a bit and I didn't encounter this problem. It's possible that there's something different in our configuration. A screenshot with selected options (filtering, hierarchy, etc.) might help.

Wordwrap : I didn't encounter he problem you describe, but I do lose the wordwrap setting a for a few grids from time to time, and I still have no idea why. After a crash, maybe,

I don't use any special settings. Just full hierarchy. It actually happened after I collapsed and opened different levels in the grid.
Take care,

Jay

I don't see anything unusual here. I tried again to reproduce it, disabling all my other options and leaving full hierarchy ON, and it works normally.

Thanks. I know, if you can't reproduce it, you can't fix it. Let's wait and see.

I have the similar problem again. Now when I search by hoisting in the current gird and then turn the hoist off, it doesn't get me to the last state but to the one that I was actually using yesterday, with different item expanded, not the one that was expanded the last time before the searching.

Take care,
Jay

I checked what is happening now -- I need to close and open the file, and than it will work.

Take care,
Jay

Hi Jay, I think there are some double posts there. Anyway, regarding the problem : do you work with only one IQ instance, or does it happen that you work with 2 or 3 IQ instances ?

Mostly (and during the time when the problem occurred) -- one instance only.
Thanks,
Jay

Thanks. Let's see what's Pierre's take on that.
