One thing that I'd find extremely useful but that doesn't seem to be possible out of the box is to quickly filter for items that have recurring events in the calendar. I often have to update my recurring events based on new experiences from the last occurrence and then sort of struggle to find the events quickly if they are on yearly or multi-yearly repeat and I'm not sure of the date.

How can I copy /paste multiple Firefox bookmarks so that each bookmark is in a separate cell?

 

The pasted bookmarks are always run together in a single cell.

 

I need the paste option: "Paste all lines into selected cells, creating items if necessary."

 

But I can't get this option to present itself when I copy/paste.

 

Same thing if I export to HTML first then copy/paste from that.

 

Dragging multiple links in captures only the first bookmark.

 

Do I need an import?

I have a feeling this is a case of RTFM, but I'm going to suggest it anyway.

 

I usually search only the item field and would find it very helpful if there was a quick way of narrowing my search by checking things like 'is shown in the calendar' or 'this field must not be blank: Appointments' etc.

The current rage for Zettelkasten method and apps like Roam, Dynalist and Obsidian has prompted us to make a number of UI improvements.

 

In that spirit, v116 is now available and focuses on making IQ an ideal environment for bullet journaling, log book, daily notes -- type information management:

 I want the Done field to be a color when it is has (any) date. I've tried [Done]="<>0" and [Done]="<>" and [Done]<>0 and numerous other variations with no luck. I do RTFM, but no luck.

While I was rebuilding my database, I managed to copy all fields of a grid from one file to another except an ID field, which in the original was set as text field and in the new file as number field. I need this field to be a number field since sometimes I'd like to sort data on this field. Because xml copying gave me empty cells in that field, I set destination field type as text. This time, as expected, it worked fine. But data was lost when I changed field name in the destination file, like from 'CustomerID' to 'ID'.

 

The strange thing is that copying was successful for another field with text in the original and number in the destination. The only difference between the failed one and the successful one seems to be that the former is 5 or 6 character long while the latter is only single character long.
