I'm seeing some problems with the Gantt charts in version N. I am new to IQ and the forum. Please tell me if I am doing something wrong.

I found a couple of solutions to my Gantt problems. However, I cannot figure out how to delete the task dependencies I have created. Also, the problem remains that when I created a finish to start dependency between tasks 1 and 2, IQ threw in a dependency on its own from task 2 to 3.

I found one more solution to my problem. That is, "How do you remove the dependency?" I found this at

In Microsoft Project, when you change the start date on a task and there are dependencies, then all the dependent tasks move by the same amount. I don't think that has been implemented in IQ. That feature would be a real time saver. I show how that works in the video below. Sorry, there is no audio on this video...my wife was asleep when I made this one.

Also, for some strange reason, now when I add a dependency to task 1, IQ is no longer throwing in an unwanted dependency from task 2 to 3.

Hi Dave, these are some great and crystal clear reports. I can't really help at the moment, and hopefully Pierre can have a look at those soon. I'll see what I can do tomorrow. I don't play with the dependencies a lot and I haven't used MS project that much either, so I can't compare. Some MS project features could certainly be implemented in IQ relatively easily -- the problem would be "when", I guess. Thanks!

The issue was identified and fixed in v0.9.25O

It only occurred when linking bars.

Thanks again !

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your crystal-clear posts. I was able to reproduce the issue and will issue an update shortly.

In the meantime, if you use the grid cell to change the dates, it works better
