Version 0.9.26Pre-Rel13 is now available !
 
A few new features and important bug fixes. All users of invited to upgrade !
  • New: WYSIWYG Grid Printing: Fit to Page  feature: Sizes printing so it fits on a single page
  • New: Import Tab-Indended files
  • New: Database Repair will now automatically delete cached copy of linked HTML and MHT files if
    "Options > Data Storage > Save a copy of the HTML/MHT file in the database" is not checked (recommended)
  • Fixed: Grids: Removing a column causes erratic cursor movements
  • Fixed: On opening, the Properties pane is sometimes not showing the currently focused item
  • Fixed: Closing the Properties pane while it is updating could cause a fatal error
  • Fixed: Grids: Pressing any of the following character starts editing but does not insert the character : { } + % ^ (  ) ~
  • Fixed: Choosing item font through the common dialog removes underline and strike-through settings
  • Fixed: Auto-backup sometimes fails
  • Fixed: For complex grids, deep hierarchies and / or fields with complex equations, creating items can be slow. Improved

[There were not so many comments about the new calendar last time -- ahem. I believe it's because its features -- in the preview --  are not immediately obvious... When they'll be, everybody is going to be in awe...;) ]

I still use a paper diary ;-) so, it's features will probably be completely wasted on me till I actually start using it.
Also, I'm not clear - is it in IQ already? and if so, is it now usable, or just a demo?

I cannot sustain an open mini calendar when clicking in a cell. The mini calendar window opens & immediately closes w/o allowing user to select a date. Don't know if this is connected w new & improved calendar. I can set a date within a cell manually but that's it !!

I had to double click on the buttons of the print page for the various effects (like fit page) to happen. E.g. Had to double click on "close" for the window to close. Double clicking seems weird there. Was it always like that?

I was expecting pasting directly a tab indented text in the grid (following the recent forum suggestion)... so at first it didn't work! So I guess one needs to first save the text as a file and import it. Still useful.

THis shaved about 70Mb of my DB. Thanks a lot.

Fixed too. However, I'm still getting mixed character when typing fast after item creation.

Thanks, yes, I can see the improvement.

I also noticed other small changes like the increased visibility of important info like equation calculations in the status bar. Useful addition IMO.
