Hi IQ Users,

Many of you have asked for an InfoQube Viewer. It is finally here !!

All data operations have been disabled. Users can still however configure views and manipulate the data.

Feedback is most welcomed !!

p.s.  There may also be a need for a Run-Time version of IQ. With this version, users will be able to enter / modify / delete data but fields, forms, views and code would be locked. A consultant using IQ to propose custom software to a customer may want to lock up the configuration. If there is a need for this, we'll also release such a version. Speak up !

I have use of this. Colleagues find IQ too daunting and this would facilitate data entry and perhaps improve the adoption of IQ for these people. BUT...

Please don't undertake this at the expense of current development. The present pace is admirable and hopefully we will see IQ v1.0 soon.

Can I load and use the Viewer on my Android Samsung Galaxy Note 3?

No, the viewer is a Windows application.

However, a new feature will be soon be available, whereby you'll be able to configure automatic HTML export of grids. If you export to a Dropbox-like folder, the information will be available on your Android device.

HTH !
