Hi IQ Users,

In this next release:
  • New: OML/OPML Import: Support "_note=" de-facto standard for additional text content (will be put in the HTML pane) (used by OmniOutliner,  iThoughts and others)
  • Fixed: Restore Layout on startup does not work when Tab Workspace is not enabled (Tools > General > Use Workspace Tabs)
  • Fixed: Opened grids are not always shown as such in menus
  • Fixed: HTML Pane: Changing the text of a hyperlink using the hyperlink dialog did not update the document
  • Fixed: Grid: Editing hyperlinks did not always select the correct text
  • Fixed: Gantt: Editing bar dates did not always update bars. Move/resize bars did not always update related date fields in the grid
  • Fixed: Adding / Deleting fields did not always trigger events to update grids
  • Fixed: A few gantt related bugs
  • Fixed: HTML pane does not display correct notes
  • Fixed: E-mail to IQ : crash
  • Change: Layout is saved on Grid > Save and before doing an auto-backup. That way, if the program stops, users will be able to restart and resume where they were.
  • Change: No longer show hand pointer on certain occasions, hoping to fix the rare issue reported here: Missing cursor when editing items
  • Change: Grid: Zoom now named Hide Panes to avoid confusion with Zoom In / Zoom Out

And, as usual, enjoy another 90 days of free trial !

Thanks!

However, I can't load my gantts  anymore. Well, they do "load", but the bars keep appearing and disappearing and IQ consumes 30-50% CPU (dual core).
IQ seems to be recalculating/evaluating something over and over.

Need to revert to previous ver. for now.

Seems that I found the cause of the problem I'm experiencing wih the Gantt. Most probably, other users won't not be affected it.
The problem  stems from a conflict between one of my functions and the Gantt "internal" functions to calculate the summary bar value.
Maybe the gantt should ignore all current "summary item" 's value (eg. ignore taskactstart/end) and rely only on the subitems values to display the summary bars, or something like that

I'll now be able to look at the other stuff :-)

Problem with the HTML pane here when on autohide mode -- the only mode I use as I never need the HTML pane to be always ON.

The tab (and content, depending on the timing) doesn't update with item change.

Edit : Also, is it normal that shift F12 will show a new HTML pane each time, and not only show the current one ?

Note that nothing updates -- not content, no item  change -- if I press F12 and then F7-F8 to switch items.

Also, sometimes, when I press F12, the pane briefly flashes and disappears.

Edit : Seems to be linked to the new panes that appeared when I pressed shift F12. I closed them, but...

  1. Fixed in v0.9.26PreRel8
  2. Yes this is normal, use F12 to activate the HTML pane

OK, but just to summarize.

- The tab doesn't update with item change.

- F7-F8 to switch items doesn't work when the pane is active.

- A few times, I pressed F12 & the pane briefly flashes and disappears -- that was afeter more panes were previously opened and closed.  Haven't been to reproduce that for now.
