Hi IQ Users,

In this release (v0.9.26PreRel38):
  • New: Set formatting for numeric fields in the field properties. Options are Standard, Currency or user-defined. The first two are taken from the Control Panel Regional Settings
  • New: HTML pane: use of relative files for images to provide better for support for Dropbox et al
  • New: Grid: Show Pictures: If the file is not found, will try to resolve it
  • Fixed: Timeline: Display set to 1899 on loading. Now scrolls to first visible item
  • Fixed: Gantt and Timeline: Improved scrolling behavior for the << and >> buttons
  • Fixed: Grid WYSIWYG editor: Carriage returns were lost when pasting from plain text
  • Fixed: Properties pane: The FileName select dialog did not default to the correct folder
  • Fixed: Grid: Sometimes the Source textbox has the focus even though the source bar is not visible
  • Fixed: Grid: When the source bar is shown, the tab key no longer tabs into the grid, but remains in the source bar

Thanks!

Still problems with the source bar here...

- First problem: focus problem:

Steps :

1- ctrl+tab to move focus to another grid
2- press down arrow to move to next item : it doesn't work.
3- press F9 to bring the focus to the grid : IQ asks if it should refresh the grid since the source changed.

Here, this happens all the time.

This is one occurrence of the problem, there might be more -- I experienced similar disrupting problems when I'm working in the properties pane, for instance.

Not sure why the focus should ever remain in the source bar when it's closed...? Refreshing the grid and showing the source bar is already possible with F5 and Alt+S, or by clicking on the  buttons. I'd vastly prefer the focus  to automatically switch back to the grid/properties pane/HTML pane (depending on where the focus is from the stard) when switching grids. Seems more intuitive to me.

- Second problem : closed but not closed.

Another (maybe related) bug : when IQ is first opened, the source bar appears to be closed, but there's a cross at the right end... to close it. When I click on it, it closes the source bar that is already closed. That's probably why I need to press ALT+S 2 times every time I open a grid and want to display the source bar : 1st time closes the source bar (even if it seems already "closed"), 2nd time effectively opens it.

OK, I'll test it some more and provide a fix (hopefully, a permanent one  )

I think this related to the source bar being not-closed but also not-visible.
(I also had the [X] to close the source bar in spite of it not being visible.)

I moved a column within the grid and got this message:

Thank you Tom, I forgot to report this. It is happening here too.

Still having problems with the overview in timeline. It is not visible unless I right click and hold in the blank area where it ought to be visible.

You mean the overview buttons don't you ?
First set the grid properties to show the buttons and then reopen the timeline

In the next version, I'll activate the menus for the timeline, provided I get enough feedback that it is a useful view...

I think that would help. Thank you.

Sort of important.
There is no listing of timeline in the customization menu. It is not listed under Views nor under All Commands.
