I want to have the html pane in different positions for separate grids, some on the bottom, others on the side and hidden in the calendar view, is this possible?

This is not currently possible.
 
But as an IQ user, I often would like to have the HTML pane attached to a grid and only show up when viewing that grid.
IQ can be many things at once and I find opening / closing the HTML pane too often, depending on what I use it for...
 
If enough users want this, I could work on it.
