Hi Pierre
been trying  out the Calendar it's working great, and looking great

I have what I presume is a display bug:
  • set the display to 2, 3, 5, or 7 days
  • click on a month in the mini-calendar, or select more than a weeks worth of days
  • the view remains in the 'column' format but shows either the month or the number of selected days -- note that according to the toolbar, the view is now @31 days
  • if I click on the "31" button in toolbar, it will show the month as expected

Hi Tom,

Great news. I've got a few additional Calendar related bugs squashed in the coming version, but this is actually by design. Right-click on the Calendar and select Normal view if you want a "regular" month view
(an option to automatically switch to month view could be added...)

HTH !

no, that's fine Pierre - I can see now it could be usable at full screen width.

I have been having some bugginess with recurring items - but nothing I can repeat yet.
At one stage I deleted one (delete as an item) and then pressed Ctrl+Z and another recurring item (the only other one) also got deleted -
I'm unable to reproduce the above.

Later, I recreated one recurring item and it only shows on the first day it was created for (I think again after testing Ctrl+Z for effects) -- I checked it and for some reason the day was deselected, so I re-ticked that but it still does not show on recurring days.

So nothing very concrete there -- will see how the next version is and report back if any other problems

re Undo:

Yeah... undo only works for items, not events. So after an undo, you'll need to create the event and associated recurrence if any.
This will be fixed in an upcoming release, probably when I implement multiple undos

yeah, I realised that -- but the fact it appeared to have destructive consequences was the problem.
As said, will report again if I see anything related.

In v62, I disabled the menu commands for Undo and Redo for the Calendar.
That should make it clearer (while waiting for proper event undo)

that's good -- I discovered that while clicking Ctrl+Z in the Calendar - it was undoing stuff in the previously focused grid. Obviously that could be pretty dangerous (!)

this one was user error (got a bit flustered with the situation)
