I've run into this several times recently and can't figure out what's going on.  When I do a screen capture and paste it in the HTML paine, sometimes the image won't display.  It looks like this:

Here's the HTML code:

Here's my file manager showing that image is in the InfoQube image folder:

So far, the only thing I've found that gets the image to display is to close and re-open InfoQube.
I'm using rel62 but this was happening with 61, also.

Hi Wayne,

Is d:/...LBH-1.sndb.Files the path specified in Tools > Options > 2.4.11 ?
When I paste and look at the HTML code, I don't get the full path, but just the file name:

2.4.11 is blank.  Am I supposed to manually enter the path to the image folder here?  I've never done that before.

Where is the IQBase itself stored ?
If it is left blank, then the .files folder is a sub-folder of the IQBase folder...

I tried entering the path of the folder but got this message:

The first path is the correct one, so I left 2.4.11 blank.  The IQBase file (LBH-1.SNDB) is in the folder "_Primary D".  The images are a sub-folder within that folder and it's named "LBH-1.SNDB.Files"

An empty .Files path should work then...
I tried to create the same path here and when I initially paste the image, I have the full path shown in the HTML code (same as you then), but as soon as I change item and move back to that item, the HTML code shows up the shortened version with just the file name... and the image is always displayed

Now virtually all my images in all my items are failing to display, and this time re-starting IQ isn't fixing it.

Copy the path into a browser, do they now display ?

I don't know what you mean.  Copy the path of the image file in my file manager and paste that in my browser?  I tried doing that in both the address and search bars in Firefox.  It just searches for those words.  You must mean something else.

By the way, my other IQ database isn't having this problem.

What I mean is:

In the HTML source, there is a tag for the image:
<IMG src="file:/// ...

If you copy the source (i.e. the file:/// etc) and paste it in a browser, is the image displayed ?

Pierre,

I'll keep that future reference but I don't think there's any reason to do it now since it's back to working (for some unknown reason - see my other thread).
