Hi IQ Users,

In this release (v0.9.26PreRel69) :
  • New: Grid: When creating an .odc, warn user if the grid is not visible to other applications, and offer to make it visible
  • Fixed: Grid: Refresh did not apply Ctrl+G type filtering
  • Fixed: Split an item could create 2 new identical items instead of one
  • New: Grid: Improved Hoist (item expand states matches pre-hoist display)
  • Fixed: Universal clipper had (again) an issue with importing latin character content
Known issues:
  • For Unicode characters, Bold, Italic, Color, etc commands will corrupt your text. You can still enter formatting codes by hand.

I've put a "silent" update to v69 today. A combination of grid setting could cause a lock-up. Big thanks to IQ user gregory for sending his file. I was able to reproduce it and fix it !

HTH !

Thanks are due rather to Pierre for reacting so quickly when I did send him that file. An issue arose with a moderately complex grid with a combination of settings: probably including columns set to autosize and many wordwrap columns. The symptoms were a complete lock-up of the user interface to InfoQube. Processor utilisation was at 50% on my twin core system. InfoQube runs on a single processor and we can therefore assume that IQ was in a tight loop. I made the affected IQBase available to Pierre. His investigation indicated that it was an event loop that was being triggered more than once. The code has been amended in the updated version 69 to make sure that the loop is not being re-entered. Thanks again, Pierre.
