hi,

when you use the "import Evernote" function, is there any way of bringing in the URL of the item?

And, on the same theme, if you do bring in the URL for an item, is there any way of making the web page for that URL appear in the HTML Pane?

Basically I'm looking for a neat streamlined way of bringing in 100s of web pages captured in Evernote.

David, if you do this, please report back if you get a chance with anything you learn and/or advice tips.  I've got thousands of pages in EN I'd like to bring over one of these days.

will do. At the moment, my "solution" is to get into the habit of using IQ rather than EN for web clipping, and meanwhile just keep working on the EN backlog, a few items at a time ...

Hi David(s) !

Good suggestions. I'll look into it when... I get back from annual holidays, yes, I'll be away for a few weeks, cycling somewhere on this beautiful Earth

hi Pierre,

the .enex file does seem to have all the required parts ("<source-url>" etc). Yet more for your list!

Enjoy your hols!

thanks Ethanrox. Had a go at using this, adding some code to get addtionally the <source-url> for each item. Will need to do some more work on it, as <source-url> picks up all jpegs etc as well as the actual web pages. Some fine tuning of the regex should do it...
