Quicken cannot be customized the way I want it....
Has anyone tried to emulate Quicken using IQ (including money transferred between accounts)?
(What would be missing would be direct online transactions import - using QFX)

I've never used Quicken... but I do all my accounting inside IQ, both personal and professional (consulting work). That includes monthly sales tax reports and yearly income tax. Pivot tables do come in handy for these.
