The order of pasted text is getting scrambled.
I've run into this repeatedly today while copying text from different websites:
1) Select text on webpage (multiple paragraphs)
2) Copy text (Ctrl-C)
3) Select empty item in InfoQube
4) Paste text (Ctrl-V> 2 "Paste all lines into selected item(s)")
This creates a separate item for each paragraph, as it should, but the order of paragraphs is scrambled.
Here's an example of a webpage where this happened, just in case it's somehow related to the webpage source:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Carey,_1st_Baron_Hunsdon
I've never run into this before. May well be some kind of system glitch but I'd appreciate knowing if anyone else can reproduce this.

I once observed this…
I once observed this behaviour in connection with other problems. Maybe the content of this thread can help narrow it down: Pasting multiline text is unpredictable / unreliable | InfoQube IM - Community.
Previous post got deleted so…
Previous post got deleted so I will try again.
I'm getting all kinds of erratic behavior now:
1) Split item. Instead of appearing directly below the item it was split from, the new item appears at random places in the outline above.
2) Select item>grid refresh. Screen redraws and focus shifts to the top item in the grid, losing the previously-focused item.
3) Alt-arrow to move items in outline. Instead of moving the item, it switches the view to another grid. Maybe I'm accidentally hitting some unknown keyboard shortcut but this has never happened before just recently, and now it's happened 10+ times in the past few days.
Maybe something is wrong with my computer though I'm not having issues with other programs.

Just tried pasting three…
Just tried pasting three paragraphs from that Wikipedia article: The order in which they were pasted was correct, but they were interspersed with other items already in my outline below the point I pasted at. Looked something like: pasted item / existing item / pasted item / existing item / ...

Yes, that's an example of what I'm getting. Thanks.

Pretty sure this is a real thing. I reverted to Pre11 and the problems went away (at least on first testing). Multi-paragraph paste was made in right order and splitting item put the new item directly below the old item.
One problem that also exists in Pre11:
Alt-arrow to move item moves view to another tab instead. I've been unable to reproduce this using combinations of nearby keys. I think it happens mostly with the down arrow, as it did just now)
Yes, I began experiencing…
Yes, I began experiencing the problem in versions after Pre11. One "workaround" (which might also help in troubleshooting the problem) is to create a sufficiently large number of blank (empty) items (lines/rows) in IQ, then paste (option 2) near the top of these blank items. Each paragraph of the multi-paragraph paste will interleave between the blank items, and the paste will be in the correct order but interleaved with the blank items. If there are not enough blank items, then the later paragraphs in the multi-paragraph paste will wrap around and begin interleaving starting from the top of the now mix of blank items and already-pasted paragraphs. For example, if your multi-paragraph paste consists of 7 paragraphs, create at least 8 blank items and then do the paste at or near the top of those blank items (option 2).

Hi All, Confirmed that Pre13…
Hi All,
Confirmed that Pre13 has an issue with item position. Fixed in v117Pre14
@Wayne: Is it possible that Alt+Arrow is a shortcut. Do Tools > Keyboard shortcuts to check
Pierre
Yes, I checked shortcuts. …
Yes, I checked shortcuts. There are a couple of shortcuts for moving to the next grid tab but the keys are nowhere near the Alt+arrow keys. As I said, I tried to reproduce it by hitting the wrong keys all around the alt+arrow combination but was unable to reproduce it.
Alt+Arrow works correctly most of the time so I know it's not a shortcut for something else.
100% sure it's happening as…
100% sure it's happening as described. I just reproduced it twice while directly looking at one finger depress the Alt key while other finger presses the down arrow.
In both cases the item moved down 2-3 places, then suddenly the view switched to another tab.

Perhaps see if you can…
Perhaps see if you can reproduce this on a brand new portable version, because honestly I don't see how this could be a bug
If you have Win10 Professional, try it in a Sandbox, else ensure you're not running any kind of keyboard extenders which may explain this
