I entered a search phrase in the Omnibox and several hits showed up in the Live Search view.  Immediately I clicked the button "Show Items in the Search grid".  I got error messages: "Error opening grid.  Check grid source criteria" and "Error reading data.  Check the source, filter, and sort criteria".  The bar over the Search Grid displays "Items from: -- Filter: IDItem in ().

What could be the problem?

Also in the Live Search view, the Created column is displaying the date in the form in the form of a five digit number, i.e. "38172".

Using 117g, but I've seen this error before updating to 117g.

Update: if I enter the search in the Live Search search box instead of the Omnibox, I'm able to display results in the Search Grid.

Were you able to repeat the issue ? It seems that the Live-Search grid had not finished updating when you hit the Show Items button.

I'll check the code and add checks for this situation

It just happened again - except that this time I didn't get the error messages, just an empty Search grid, and the Source Bar displays this: Items from: (All Items) -- Filter: IDItem in (0).

I had 306 hits in the Live Search view when I clicked the "Show Items in the Search Grid" button.  I tried typing the same text in the search box in the Live Search grid, at first it I still got an empty search grid.  Finally I backspaced over my search text, and retyped it in a bit slower - the Live Search view repopulated, and then I clicked the Show Items in search grid button, and finally I was able to see the hits in the Search grid.

I've tried to reproduce it, even with the CPU clock way down, but it always works... 😒

In v117i, I've changed something nevertheless, perhaps it will fix this 😮
