Can any options be applied universally (ie change one file; have it apply to all)?

I know it can be done for toolbar changes.

I recently changed the location of my backup folder.  I couldn't find any way to make this option apply to all files (couldn't find anything in user manual).  So I've been opening each file to change this option.  This gets tedious pretty fast if you use multiples files.

Would be nice to make one-time universal changes (eg font), but maybe offering the option for local vs universal application might be too much trouble to implement.

Not really, the list of DB Specific settings is here: 10. Program Settings and options

I don't use the backup folder as I prefer using Dropbox sync instead (it does the same thing and more...)

That said, it can be pretty quick. First Copy the path to the clipboard, then for each file:

  1. Tool > Options. Type Backup + Enter
  2. Paste in the Backup folder line
  3. Click OK (or press Alt+O)
