I have a Grid with "sub-grids" that I described here:

When I try to open one of those grids "Inv_All", IQ hangs (with CPU at 25%) and never opens (well, at least not within 10 min).
I created new Grid with the same source as in "Inv_All" and two Tag columns (I don't remember exactly what columns I had in "Inv_All"). That new Grid, "junk3" first opened fine. However, as I was troubleshooting and had to close IQ several times when it hung, that Grid also stopped responding.
I created a new Grid "junk4" with the same source and column as "junk3" and that one currently opens fine. I added the "HTML?" column and deleted all HTML code in the Doc Pane. Closed and reopened IQ. That didn't help, "Inv_All" and "junk3" still causes IQ to hang ("junk4" is still OK).
I then changed the source (in Grids Management) of "Inv_All" to the same source as in a working Grid. That didn't help. "Inv_All" still hangs.
Next step was to try an older versions of IQ. I Tried with:
"0.9.117Pre9Portable" => I could then open the "Inv_All" Grid! However, I didn't look at the Grid details.
I then went back to the latest version:
"119Pre4Portable" => I can now open "Inv_All" Grid!? However, the Item and Tag column order was switched. I am not sure if I previously had other columns in this Grid or not. I switched back so that Item is first again and put back the original source..
Any clue on what is going on?
How can I try to troubleshoot this when/if it happens again?

I have a backup of this Grid. That one still hangs when I try to open "Inv_All" in "119Pre4Portable". How do you suggest that I troubleshoot? Should I go back in IQ versions one-by-one to see last version which can open it?
So far I have tried:
119Pre4Portable => Hangs
118jPortable => Hangs
118hPortable => Hangs
118Pre9Portable => Hangs
117jPortable => Works! Column order of Tag and Item is again swapped!
I don't have any versions between 117j and 118Pre9 to test, but the problem started somewhere between these two.
As previously, I can now open the Grid in my backup (BUP) in 119Pre4Portable after I successfully opened it in the older version (117jPortable) that didn't hang.
I have another BUP2 to continue troubleshooting if you could advice the next step?
p.s. A file with extension *.ldb is created; I think when it hangs. What is this?

I used Database Tools | Mask Data and clicked on "Mask All Text" to mask all items.
The Tags were also masked, but only after closing/reopening the file.
I deleted many Grids and Fields and the problem remains.
I am not sure if there is any personal info left in the file (?), so I have E-mailed it to you.

I noticed that the order was interchanged when I was able to open it in an older version.
The order must somehow have been accidentally swapped (no clue how).
