When an item has multiple parents and "context parents" is checked, only the original context parent is shown.
In the example below, itemA, has two parents, Parent1 & Parent2, as shown in the properties pane.

I would be helpful if both parents would show as context parents as well, e.g. Parent1 | Parent2, instead of just Parent1.

Hi viking,

I don't see how that could work.

What would be possible though is a read-only field called ItemParents that would list all parents and be shown in a grid. Not a priority though, as the field nbParents can already be used to flag items with multiple parents

I have started to use the ItemParents field, but it only shows the Main Parent.
It would be great if it could show all parents instead!

(The nbParents field only shows how many Parents there are, but not who they are...)

(For what it's worth, I think this would be a great reason to give some love to Map View. If Map View were to become a more fully fledged editing environment in which one could navigate and edit a whole outline, then it would be possible to really take advantage of how Map View more efficiently displays multiple parentage. Eg., a child with multiple parents only needs to appear once...)

With the addition of new column types (Tag, Tag branch, Related Items, etc) it is quite easy to add one for Item Parents. Expect it when I get a chance to work on this

I'd second (third?) an easy way to view all the Parents of a given item. Given how I use IQ, I find that the need comes up fairly often. Sounds like the Item Parents as a new column type would work quite well, at least in my case. Thanks for considering this feature request!
