Win 10
Ver 121pre8
I just recently stared working with multiple IQ databases.
I now notice the IQ icon on the taskbar does not show recently used items in a jump list (right click)
I have Jump lists turned on and use them for several other programs.
Can IQ Icon use jump lists?
How do I ?

That's interesting. My InfoQube icon on the taskbar does have jump lists. I'm on Windows 11. I believe it had them on my older Windows 10 laptop as well. I use the portable version.

Hmmm. So if you check the properties of the IQ icon (on the taskbar) that does has jump lists which program (from the IQ portable directory) is it running.

It is always turned off on my PC, but if I turn the Windows settings On (Combine Taskbar buttons), a single click on the IQ taskbar icon does popup the list of IQ instances, which I can then click on to switch to it.p.s. FYI, I use a minimalist left side taskbar (using 7+ Taskbar Tweaker), which explains why I disable that setting[edit] After reading what "jump lists" are, I see that it is something completely different LOL.
To enable Jump Lists, you must first associate the .sndb extension with InfoQube (i.e. with InfoQube.exe). To do this, right-click on an IQBase (.sndb file) and select open with. Browse to select the InfoQube program and set it to be the default program for that file time
Of course, as this is a Windows feature, Windows must know that a specific file was opened. So if you open the file in IQ, or if the file opens automatically, Windows doesn't know. Double-click on an sndb file to open it and Windows will remember it.
HTH !

Thanks for adding this info. I didn't realise that, having done this ages ago, it was the action that enabled jump lists. I just tried it out on another laptop that did not have them, and they have been added. This is on Windows 10.
